ATLANTA BORN, ATLANTA BRED…

An Atlanta native (born at Northside Hospital), Frank joined the Firm as an equity partner in 2014 with John Andrle.  He focuses his practice on community association representation, creditors’ rights, collections, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosures, tax sale matters, title curative litigation, and general real estate litigation.  Frank represents individual property owners, nonprofits, neighborhoods, homeowner and condominium associations, real estate builders and developers, real estate agents and brokers, real estate appraisers, title insurance companies, and other real estate professionals.

Frank has been licensed to practice law since 1997.  He brings to the Firm decades of overall legal experience, including decades of legal experience exclusively dedicated to real estate law, Condo and HOA representation, and creditors’ rights.  Over his career, Frank has litigated thousands of cases to settlement or, when settlement is not possible, through trial and appeals, zealously and tirelessly striving for his clients at every step.

Prior to joining the Firm, Frank managed McCurdy & Candler’s Default Litigation Department for 9 years, overseeing thousands of cases and supervising several attorneys and paralegals during his tenure.  Frank also created and implemented McCurdy & Candler’s compliance procedures for the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (“RESPA”), Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) and the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act (“SCRA”), and regularly trained employees on those laws.

Prior to McCurdy & Candler, Frank worked at both a creditors’ rights real estate litigation firm and an Atlanta boutique plaintiffs’ firm, representing litigants in complex state and federal litigation.  Frank is licensed to practice in Georgia, North Carolina (currently inactive) and Tennessee (currently inactive).

On a Personal Note

Frank has the distinction of being the only attorney at the Firm to successfully argue a motion before the United States Supreme Court - a motion to admit his father, Lowell W. Olson, who was also an attorney, to that Court’s bar. https://catalog.archives.gov/id/183518103

In his personal time, Frank enjoys spending time with his wife Karla and two sons, Reid and Carter; traveling to National Parks and abroad; golfing; camping; hiking; sailing in the Caribbean and on Lake Lanier; and, oddly enough, working on cars, including his beloved air-cooled Porsche 911 Targa, despite having no formal mechanic’s training!  Most of them still run, he says.

Frank and his family actively attend Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in East Cobb, and Frank currently serves as the Advancement Chair for Boy Scout Troop 955 in Marietta. https://www.troopwebhost.org/Troop955Marietta/Index.htm
